Activus commercial wins American Advertising Federation Award

The Activus television commercial "Elements of Speed" was this week recognized with a prestigious ADDY Award.

The awards, which are the most celebrated in the industry, recognize creative excellence in all forms of advertising.

"While we create our television campaigns to spotlight our brand and communicate our product offerings to consumers, it is a source of great pride to be recognized by the creative community, as well," says CEO Jon Cordes.

The 30-second spot was created by our brand consultant Jeff Lancaster and produced by Alex LaFlamme of Craftworks Creative.

We have collaborated with Lancaster and Laflamme to produce several more spots that will air from Monday March 24, 2008.

"While 'Elements of Speed' was purely a brand-awareness tool, these new spots will be positioned to generate a call to action," says Lancaster. "They will form part of a much larger integrated communications strategy designed to increase brand awareness, top-of-mind positioning and sales."

In addition to winning an ADDY Award for our television commercial, Activus scored another win with our new web site.

"The site is now a lot closer to the vision we had for it when we started the re-branding process last April," says Cordes. "Branding is an organic process that requires constant monitoring for the brand to remain relevant, different and energized. Our creativity is an essential part of that process, and it's pleasing to see our brand gaining substantial recognition."
